Lila Nova is a girl. Born and raised in Athens, Greece, she did dozens of different jobs and changed lives; finally, she settled down in a bright atelier in the heart of the city. She collects matchboxes where she keeps images, odours, tastes, tunes, loves and memories. She then gives them shapes and life: she transforms them into drape dressed, geometrical skirts,modern corsets. Lila dresses up, sneaks in liliputian bars and dances. She draws her inspiration from old movies and retro pictures, combining contemporary perceptions with the romantic style of the 70s, the playful spirit of the 60s and the femininity over the centuries. She participated in contests with her creations and won the 2nd Award, Best Trendsetter at the 10th Athens Xclusive Designers Week and the Best New Designer Award at the 11th Athens Xclusive Designers Week. She designs daydreams and sews. She believes in the philosophy of mood-changing clothes that have the ability to transform. That is why Lila Nova's colorful creations are for all the contemporary, everyday, next-door princesses. Because magic and love are everywhere; they are especially hiding where you would never imagined.
