Katerina Papagianni was born in 1991 in Athens. As a little child, she enjoyed drawing and dealing with colors. At the age of 8, she discovered that it was fashion design that mainly excited her. Since then, she started designing clothes and dreamed to follow this career. So, after graduating high school, she decided to study at “Veloudakis Fashion School”. There, she found out her potentials in pattern design/making and how important this was for the implementation of a garment (apart from styling and layout), but also the use of the computer for these functions. After graduating with very good marks, she found herself in dilemma whether to continue her studies in US or to stay in her country, searching for a place in the Greek fashion arena. Eventually, she decided to remain here, learning and working in atelier couture, where she exercised her masterliness in sewing/dressmaking. Now, Katerina is taking her first steps in fashion world, with a new collection and high expectations.
