New Designers Awards

On April 2008, AXDW fulfilled one of its core objectives: to support, promote and reward young talented designers with the inception of a special event, named "New Designer Awards". Since then, this special event gave the opportunity to many young designers to present their fresh collections and promote their creations both locally and internationally. 

Three categories consist the "New Designer Awards" competition: Best Designer, Best Trendsetter and Best Catwalk. Established fashion editors, buyers and designers form the Judging Committee and vote for each of the three categories. A special day, during each AXDW, is dedicated for the presentations of the young creators, followed by a dazzling Awards event, where famous presenters announce the three winners of the competition, who are rewarded with significant prizes: from collaborations with important buyers to presenting their upcoming collection to a Fashion Week abroad. 

"New Designer Awards" is finally here to stay; and it will always strive to spot fresh fashion talent and enhance the fashion industry's future.
