Identity:
The Athens Xclusive Designers Week is the international fashion week in Greece. It is designed according to international Fashion Weeks' standards that take place in Paris, London, Milan and New York. It collaborates with international fashion executives and organizations and it has the aid and support of various Greek Public Authorities. Thus, the Athens Xclusive Designers Week is considered to be the most important event in the Greek fashion industry.
AXDW is not just a fashion week. It is a celebration of fashion, a Fashion Festival.
It is a fashion event presenting an innovative and extensive program of fashion, business, cultural and social events, allowing visitors to experience the most innovating and engaging creative interaction. Gala & parties, fashion concerts, photo & art exhibitions, charity events, business forum are part of the AXDW platform.
Hi - story:
It is successfully implemented since May of 2007.
An Xclusive Vision:
The vision of the Athens Xclusive Designers Week is to soon be one of the events that will dynamically contribute to the fashion industry on an international level.
This goal can be achieved by constantly upgrading and evolving the Greek fashion and promoting it abroad.
An Xclusive Mission:
The special mission of the Athens Xclusive Designers Week is to enhance the Greek fashion industry and the Greek designers, offering the opportunities and tools to present their creations in the national as well as the international fashion business.

When:
Twice a year, in Spring and Fall, like all international Fashion Weeks. The Athens Xclusive Designers Week consists of numerous fashion exhibitions by Greek and foreign designers. These exhibitions are presented either on the catwalk or with the creative use of various installations and usually last 4 to 5 days.

The designers participating in the event:
- Exclusively accredited Greek fashion designers who are accepted based on their resume and their success in this specific domain.
- Supreme foreign designers who are invited as guests of honor in order to present their collections in Greece. Selected young Greek and foreign designers, with a vision to enter the world of fashion and show their talent.
- The guests invited in the event:
- The public at which the event is addressed is targeted and the invitations are personal.

The main goals of the Athens Xclusive Designers Week are to:
- Launch the top Greek designers and their creations in Greece and abroad.
- Captivate the talented foreign designers.
- Make Athens and AXDW an official destination to the annual international Fashion Week program.
- Become an endless source of inspiration and creative expression for the Greek designers as well as for the new creators that wish to enter the world of fashion.
- Engage in participations and collaborations that will offer the extra cultural and artistic value that will improve Greece 's image all over the fashion world.
- Final goal is the development of opportunities and the improvement of growth possibilities for the national fashion industry.

Publishers, presenters, journalists and fashion editors from the Greek and foreign Media, as well as V.I.P.'s from various fields and countries are invited to the Athens Xclusive Designers Week.

The Athens Xclusive Designers Week is being promoted through a complete communication program that informs the public about the magnitude and the significance of the event. In order to reach a wider public, the main campaign includes: TV, radio, outdoor, press and internet, as well as below the line activities. In order to attract a more targeted audience, such as V.I.P.'s and opinion leaders of the fashion business, indirect promotions and international public relations programs are implemented.

Further to that, AXDW has been designed to include a series of parallel events that are complementing the "Fashion" concept, therefore it is considered as a "Festival for Fashion" platform. AXDW is hosting, since its very first show, a number of Philanthropic and Environmental NGOs that send out a loud message: "We can all contribute to make this world a little bit better" . Important NGO organizations have collaborated with us in each AXDW show. Well-known and credible foundations such as " AGKALIAZO " a solid group of Volunteers that deal with people that suffer from cancer, the "Institute Team for the World" that is dedicated to the protection of the environment, the foundation "ANASA" that is informing the audience about Nutritional disorders, "MAKE A WISH" that takes care of children aged 3-18 years old, diagnosed with a life-threatening illness by granting their more cherished wishes, have approached the large audience of AXDW in order to sensitize them on environmental and humanitarian issues.
However, Fashion is an endless celebration. Therefore, in the area outside the room of the impressive catwalks, young student designers and artists, have created amazing tailor-made objects of art aiming to deliver the message of Environmental Protection as well as Peace and Humanity.
