Born in Cyprus in 1981, Stelios Koudounaris grew up in his family fashion business. After finishing his studies in fashion design and production, he comes in Athens and cooperates with some leading companies in the fashion industry as a designer and stylist.
The collection for S/S 2010 is his 5th personal collection. The designer uses the Cypriot "agrino" as a logo. A very powerful traditional figure, pictured in a modern way, which declares Stelios' origin, the dynamics of his designs and his edgy patterns.
His collections are characterized by a rock and wild elegance that highlights the woman's silhouette. Edgy proposals, with a futuristic attitude that keep a lining style of a modern minimal approach to femininity. The tailoring techniques are strictly couture, incorporated in pret-a-porter creations, following the aesthetic obsessions of our times.
Stelios creates clothes in a decent and compact way, but at the same time he uses provocative touches that flatter and reinforce the confidence of the modern woman who lives, works and moves in the city.
