Notis Panagiotou was born in Cyprus in 1977. He studied «Hand-Made & Production Jewellery Technician» in Mokoume College, while at the same time he studied Gemmology GAGTL. He has participated in 8 group jewellery exhibitions and managed to create his own at the "Astrolavos" gallery Astrolavos in 2003 and at Lefkosia in 2004.
He has participated twice in the Design Contest "Schoonhoven Silver Award" in Holland and twice in the jewellery design and production contest of "Hanaoy" in Germany. He has also participated in 8 national contests for jewel design and was awarded with the 2nd and the 6th prize at the 4th National Jewel Contest of ELKA with the subject "Microcosmos".
Since 2001, Notis is cooperating with the National Museum of Modern Art in Athens, as he designs and produces jewellery for the museum. In 2002, he started up a silver & gold workshop in Cyprus, producing and selling jewellery with the brand name ''Schmuck Exclusive Jewellery Designs''. The same year, he started cooperating with the National Gallery of Athens, for the creation of jewels based on the Gallery's exhibits in Corfu. In 2005, he opened the store "Notis" with his own jewellery range and started cooperating on a steady basis with fashion designers Fani Xenophontos, Elena Antoniades and other Cyprus designers.
Notis has been in charge of "styling" in many events, such as the Music Awards of Cyprus, the Cyprus Beauty Contest and several TV productions and advertisements. He has also experienced working with the international singer Emma Shaplin for her performances in Cyprus and Greece.
He is one of the founders of the Cyprus Fashion Designers Association and holds the position of the Secretary of the Association. Among his latest achievements is the production of the 1st and 2nd Cyprus Fashion Weeks.
