François Gadrey was born on 11/7/1956 at Autun (Burgundy- France). His passion for music as a teenager, led him to the creation of his own music band "Photo", playing pop-rock music.
In 1982, François created the "Studio Aventures" in Paris, officially entering the fashion industry. By 1988, "Studio Aventures" has achieved to sign several comic strip licence agreements for the textile market, and in 1989 the company moves to Le Creusot (Burgundy) and consolidates its structure, including its people, its products and distribution network. By 1997, "Studio Aventures" has become a household brand, has entered the sports market and took over the company "Degre 7", specializing in high technical ski wear. "Aventures Des Toiles" was launched in 2000, with increased awareness and participations in many fashion shows across Europe and USA.
François is an adventurer. His life starts with an uppercase "L" for a victor with all risks attached; an enlightening journey for the mind; a vision that brings novelty. Passion is his guidance and makes use what is important in his life: pleasure and poetry, strength and temerity. He likes exchanging ideas and sharing thoughts with different people. Instinct and ideas blend together to create a new adventure for the team each time.
François takes pleasure in finding attractive things to him; from paintings he falls in love with to trees and shirts soft to the touch. He loves meeting new people and discovering life. Friendship is of great importance to him and would be like life without pleasure to live without dinners and a good laugh with them.
His motto is "I am a jack of all trades, master of none". A jack of no trade and master of all could never have conceived "Aventures Des Toiles".
