The brand, LEILA HAFZI, was founded in Stavanger, Norway in 1997. In the high-end fashion scene, a new voice was born and the ethical - and eco-conscious - trade found a future leading lady.
The unfading joy for creativity has made this multiple award-winning brand into a red carpet frequenter. The trans-cultural collaboration of the LEILA HAFZI team makes the impossible possible, in the hazy and sometimes chaotic production site of Kathmandu.

The Serpent and the Phoenix have joined a dance; moving together, complementing each other, creating a perfect harmony.
This entire collection is dedicated to balance, from the choice of pallet to the design. The black base has been softened by delicate shades of purple and plum, spiked by a fiery raspberry and soothed by a deep, calm green.
The finest silks, cashmere, nettle and organic cotton have been hand painted, shaped and draped into creations elegantly bringing out the sweet, as well as the darker qualities in the bearer. Designed to leave the spectator with a sensation of an almost edgy calmness, Equilibrium will have you captured until the Phoenix herself decides to let you go.

The design and production company, Nepal Productions AS, established in 2005, is a proud member of The Ethical Trading Initiative; a multi stakeholder initiative involving companies, employers, organizations, trade unions and NGOs. IEH's activities are based on the acknowledgement that companies have a responsibility towards human rights in their supply chain.
Our work to establish an environmental friendly production cycle continues. Through years of first hand experience on working in a developing country, we see that we have come far. And although there are still lengths to go, we are confident that we will get there, overcoming the challenges, one at a time.
